Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Terminal na 'To!) (lit. '"Your Simply Mother (The Terminal One!)")' is a 2010 Filipino dramedy film starring Ai-Ai delas Alas, Eugene Domingo, and certain others. An official entry for the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival, it was supposed to be the last film of Ang Tanging Ina film series; nevertheless, a crossover sequel betwixt Enteng Kabisote and Ang Tanging Ina entitled Enteng Ng Ina Mo co-starring Ai-Ai de las Alas and Vic Sotto were released. It was a co-production betwixt APT Entertainment, Thousand-ZET Productions, OctoArts Films and Star Cinema.

The crossover sequel was indirectly confirmed by Kris Aquino in her talk testify Kris TV after discussing some of the entries of 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival including her motion-picture show entry Segunda Mano which was besides distributed by Star Movie theater.

Plot [edit]

A few months after Ina left the position as the President of the Philippines, she is back in the media limelight every bit she releases a book of her life in her journey as a mother to her children and as a female parent to the people of the Philippines. She thought Juan, her first son, was in New Zealand only he actually lives on the streets. Pip had a daughter named Monay. And Tudis continues to quarrel with her husband, Troy, because of her girl being with another homo. When Ina's children knew about her sickness, they were heartbroken and decided to change for the amend, especially Juan and Tri. When yet another accident occurred, Ina was rushed to the hospital, where Rowena was due to give birth, Six and 10-Ten came, but Por was non there. Ina thought that the light that she saw was God, who was near to have her. Just it was actually a light from a shooting. Then, another medico claimed that Ina was not sick. Ina and her family so enjoyed a happy life together. So came the Christening of Rowena's daughter when Frank came and he was accepted. Later on which, it was Seven's wedding ceremony to William.

Development [edit]

Aside from Ai-Ai delas Alas, Eugene Domingo too returns in the last installment equally Rowena. Bulk of the characters reprise their roles in the film. Marvin Agustin, Kaye Abad, Nikki Valdez, Marc Acueza return in the concluding picture later on being absent in the previous sequel. Among the cast, Heart Evangelista is the but graphic symbol to not appear in the final sequel due to reasons unknown.[1] Also in this film, appearances of Ina'due south husbands played by Tonton Gutierrez every bit Alfredo, Jestoni Alarcon as Kiko, and Dennis Padilla every bit Eddie with the exception of Edu Manzano as Tony.

Crossover sequel [edit]

In 2011, there was a rumored crossover between Enteng Kabisote and Ang Tanging Ina titled Enteng ng Ina Mo. The film was an official entry for the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival which was released on December 25, 2011. It breaks the four-mean solar day record of The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin with a record of ₱110 million.

Trivia [edit]

  • The characters of Joe, Nick and Kevin were derived from the Jonas Brothers.
  • In the hymeneals of President Ren Constantino, she was covered by a white fabric. This is like to the wedding of Korina Sanchez to Mar Roxas where Sanchez was budgeted the Church while covered with a white textile.
